What is Marketing and its strategy ?
Marketing is the process of identifying and meeting customer needs through product development, promotion, and distribution. It involves understanding the target audience, analyzing market trends, and creating strategies to reach potential customers

Examples of marketing include advertising campaigns, social media outreach, email newsletters, and influencer partnerships. For instance, a clothing brand may use targeted advertising on social media platforms to reach a specific demographic of customers and promote new product lines. Effective marketing helps businesses increase brand recognition and drive sales growth by creating value for customers.

The first digital marketer is often considered to be Ray Tomlin-son, who sent the first email in 1971. Tomlinson is credited with inventing email and using it as a tool for marketing. He sent the first email to himself as a test, and soon realized its potential for communication and advertising.

However, the term "digital marketing" was not coined until the 1990s when the internet began to gain popularity. One of the earliest books on digital marketing is "The Cluetrain Manifesto" by Rick Levine, Christopher Locke, Doc Searls, and David Weinberger, which was published in 2000. The book argued that the internet was changing the way businesses communicate with their customers and that they needed to adopt a more conversational and human approach to marketing.

Another important book
on digital marketing is "Permission Marketing" by Seth Godin, which was published in 1999. Godin's book introduced the concept of permission marketing, which involves getting the customer's consent before sending them promotional messages. This approach has become increasingly important in the age of spam and privacy concerns.

Today, digital marketing is a rapidly evolving field that includes a wide range of techniques and strategies, from search engine optimization (SEO) to social media advertising. Some of the most famous digital marketers in the world include Neil Patel, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Rand Fishkin, who have built successful businesses and careers by leveraging the power of digital marketing.
